To apply online for WB Primary TET 2023, an individual will have to provide valid basic and educational qualification details, upload the requirements documents’ scan copy along with the photograph and signature, and pay the fee, at the time of filling the details make sure cross check everything, because if there will be any error you application may be rejected.

Educational Qualification
- Paper I – One must have completed Intermediate and pursued 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or 4 years Bachelor’s in Elementary Education.
- Paper II – One must have pursued Bachelor’s degree and 2 year BEd from a UGC recognised University.
Age Limit
- Paper I – There is no cap on lower or upper age limit.
- Paper II – Same as above.
WB Primary TET 2023 Application Fees
The West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 Application Fee is Rs. 500/-. If you belong to the OBC-A or OBC-B category, the application fee is slightly lower at Rs. 400/-. For candidates in the SC, ST, or PH (Physically Handicapped) category, the application fee is the lowest, set at Rs. 250/-. Candidates who are going to apply online will be able to pay it using Debit or Credit Card.
WB Primary TET 2023 Exam Date
Exam date for Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 is announced officially by the Board of Primary Education, West Bengal, it is going to be held on 10th December 2023 across the State at multiple exam centres with an exam time duration of 02 hours 30 minutes for each Paper 1 and 2, a total number of 150 objective question from different sections will be asked in each paper, each question will carry a weightage of 1 mark and there will be no provision of negative marking.
